"Foster Mobility": A Student Survey

"Foster Mobility" is a class project of Kathryn Doherty-Chapman and Mark Kenseth at Portland State University. The project is meant to involve the public and use mapping tools to develop information for an urban planning project. We have learned about the Foster Road revitalization project and would like your input by taking a few minutes to answer some questions.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.
To take the survey online visit: http://foster.soma.research.pdx.edu/

Kathryn and Mark will be presenting their final conclusions to MSANA in the next few weeks!

It's time to start watering your trees each week!

Remember, it is time to start watering your tree each week!  Especially with the dry weather of the past two weeks!  In the Portland area, rainfall slows down just when young trees need water most.  Your new tree/s need at least 10-15 gallons of water each week for the first three years.  Providing one deep watering over the entire root system per week is recommended.

Thanks for a hugely successful Cleanup!

We won't have final tallies for a few weeks, but the initial numbers look great for the cleanup last Saturday. The past few years we have had about 125-130 vehicles come through; this year it was a whopping 159, which I think is a new record!!
